côte&ciel Presents: Soft Sculptures

An Art Installation and Editorial in Collaboration with Milan-Based Architect Alberto Simoni
As we continue our exploration of form and structure, we present our FW25 collections latest artistic venture. To mark the season’s launch, we unveil an evocative art installation and editorial created in collaboration with Milan-based architect Alberto Simoni of aspro.studio, and Art Director and Photographer Gabriele Rosati.

Titled Soft Sculptures, this is a study in contrast. A tactile dialogue between solidity and fluidity, structure and malleability. Blocks of soft foam are sculpted to house the negative space of côte&ciel bags, seamlessly integrating the bags themselves within the composition.

The project explores an evocative sense of nostalgia through the interplay of form and fluidity, offering a poetic reinterpretation of this season's products. By embodying the bags’ defining characteristics within the sculptures, the installation presents them in an almost ethereal absence, where their presence is felt without ever being physically there.
With côte&ciel being an interpretation of sculptural design, we invite our audience to new additions that embody architectural nuances: the YALU, a contorted and fluid backpack with a cocoon-like shape, the MINHO, a new weekender duffle with gathered details on the straps, and the UVA, a new crossbody with a drawstring closure design to adapt and evolve with you. All come in the latest Carbon Black material, a double-layered nylon with a subtle sheen and crinkle, reminiscent of the texture of stratus clouds.

New seasonal colours and fabrics, Cargo Green, Slate Grey, and Onyx Black dress returning icons such as the HYCO, ORNE, NILE, and ISAR, and a varying ensemble of small accessories are on offer, most notably the awaited return of the Alias Leather material now embellishing the AOÓS Nano.
