côte&ciel x Eye_C Magazine: UNIFORM: A Study in Form and Function, Shot in Tokyo

For its debut ready-to-wear collection, UNIFORM, French design studio côte&ciel expands its architectural language beyond accessories and into the realm of apparel. In collaboration with Eye_C Magazine, the brand presents an editorial photographed in Tokyo, capturing the collection’s interplay between structure, motion, and environment.
Through Eye_C’s lens, UNIFORM becomes a visual study of rhythm and restraint, garments in conversation with the city’s shifting geometries. Framed against Tokyo’s urban architecture, the collection’s sculptural silhouettes reveal côte&ciel’s ongoing dialogue between protection and fluidity, utility and form.

A System of Five Pieces, UNIFORM introduces modularity and function as aesthetic principles. The Point Jacket, Arc Gilet, Vertex Poncho, Coordinate Pants, and Radius T-Shirt each translate côte&ciel’s signature bag architecture into new dimensions of wearability. Pocket systems echo the carrying logic of the SORMONNE, ISAR , and NILE backpacks, while pleats, arcs, and folds adapt to the body in motion.

Conceived as daily garments for creatives, UNIFORM reflects côte&ciel’s belief that functionality can be a catalyst for freedom. What unites us, structure, discipline, and shared design codes, also becomes the foundation for individuality. In UNIFORM, uniformity becomes a framework for expression.

UNIFORM will launch globally on Friday, November 7th, exclusively on coteetciel.com, and our Paris flagship store in Paris.
